Megatron was part of the 1984 Transformers toyline. The Transformers changed the way children would look at toys forever. Megatron and his robotic counterparts were known for their two different playmodes. Each Decepticon had both a robot mode, and a vehicle/weapon mode. Megatron is the Leader of the Decepticons a clan of evil robots who waged war on their home plant of Cybertron against the heroic Autobots.
